Honestly, one of the most annoying characters is Alden. He meddles with Sophie's love life, gets his daughter to help him spy on Sophie, gets his son to help him spy on Keefe, and lets Alvar into Everglen WITHOUT Biana and Fitz's permission.
@kiersleya.frasier said something, but IT CONTAINED SPOILERS FOR LEGACY. Ivy, you didn't do anything wrong, but Opal here is halfway through Flashback. So yeah. Just pasting your response here for the entire-KOTLC-series-readers. Make sure you tell us if there are spoilers for any books next time. Sorry! 😂 *growls at Opal* SPOILERS BELOW:
I can agree with you that Keefe is annoying, but he's also kind of funny. I like him best when he's with Ro, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Sophie should baby him or anything. I also found Sophie kinda annoying from time-to-time. For the most part I like her, but that scene in Legacy when she got super mad at Oralie through me for a loop (it's kinda a long story, in my mind, and it's not relevant to this debate. I mean, you can ask and I'll answer happily, but it's not really something that I need to go into the full of in this post). She is also kind of petty. Like, the Council decides to make her work and depend on her other friends, and she gets grumpy about it. Is it really that bad, not working with Keefe and Fitz? Like, isn't it kind of refreshing getting away from the confusing relationship stuff with Fitz and the "let's search for my biological parents" mess with Keefe? Besides, it's not like she won't tell them about the stuff with Team Valiant. And the last one: Fitz. He was really great up until about halfway through Legacy...well, and Exile, but he was really sweet and amazing and kind to Sophie when so many other people weren't, like Stina, and Bronte. But when she wouldn't tell him who her biological mother is, he became surly and unsupportive of her, and then broke up with her. He knew that things would be different with her, and when she needed his "you are amazing, whether you're matchable or unmatchable permanently" boyfriend talk. Instead, she got the breakup talk. Which really sucks. Obviously. I mean, overall, I love most of the characters for their own individual traits, including Sophie, Fitz, and Keefe, but there are moments that I find pretty annoying 😂😂
I know this is not what other people may think, but In my opinion, Keefe is the most annoying character. There are not many people to choose from... Why I think he is the most annoying is because he is constantly being babied by Sophie, and always brags about being the best all the time. He is funny, cute, and not much else. Just because he has parent problems doesn't mean he has to be babied all the time.
Yeah I agree. I’ve come to some realizations lately and I think that Keefe is by far the most annoying character. He’s super reckless and untrustworthy and honestly kinda sucks, and yet Sophie and all of fandom idealizes him like he doesn’t have any mistakes. Like guys, he is not that great. I also find Sophie kinda annoying. This one is kinda hard to explain.
