The Eckodon Awards

Hi everyone!

This is the page for our fanart contest, the Eckodon Awards. There are multiple categories you can win in, and all pieces will be judged by a panel of two or three unbiased judges. If you have any questions after reading the rest of this post, please comment them below.

How To Submit:

Upload your image into a comment by clicking the camera icon in the bottom left of the comment box. If that doesn't work, click the 'Upload' icon third to the left, but as this makes it harder for us to view your images, please try adding it as an image instead of a file first.

If you are uploading a painting or drawing, try to take a picture in a highly lit setting or adjust the brightness of the photo so we can see the colors more distinctly.

Rules:

- The piece must be original artwork. If we find that any pieces are not yours, you will be immediately disqualified from the contest.

- The piece cannot be a graphic design of any sort. You may use a digital art program (like Krita) to create it, but it can't be something like a quote poster.

- You may compliment others' work, but please refrain from criticizing until the winners have been announced.

- You may not edit your work after the end of the contest. Anyone who is seen to have edited their art after the due date will have that piece disqualified.

- You cannot edit any photos you take of your work besides adjusting the brightness if it was taken in a dimly lit setting (no cropping).

- In your submission, tell the name of the piece and the media used.

- Each artist may submit up to two pieces.

Credit to @TheWritingClarinetist

- Creativity (Style of the piece, uniqueness) - 4 points

- Technique (Media used, look of the piece, difficulty, art technique) - 4 points

- Content (What the piece is of) - 2 points
